Tips for keeping your skin healthy even if you’re loading up on the Halloween makeup!
First things first: Consider your options
The first step of your plan should be to do a spot test to ensure you’re not allergic to any of the products you plan on using. Also, it’s best to avoid products that contain red dye because those stain the worst. Play around with a few different ideas and colors before covering your face in any one specific product.
Then prep your skin for what’s to come
You need to prep your skin with moisturizer, especially under the eyes. We recommend cleaning your face with a natural cleanser which is great for softening the skin and deeply moisturizing. After washing, apply a creamy (not lotion) moisturizer that’ll deeply penetrate and hydrate the skin. Opt for an eye-specific primer too because it’ll help your makeup last longer and give your skin an extra layer of protection.
Don’t forget to wash up after the big bash!
No matter how much fun you’ve had, don’t ever go to bed without washing your face! You don’t want to leave any makeup or paint behind when you finally hit the sack. Start by removing the bulk makeup with your favorite makeup remover, or if you want to keeps natural, try coconut oil or our coconut oil wipes.
The Acai Cucumber Facial Cleanser contains a concentration of anti-bacterial acai oil and hydrating cucumber extract to help wash away excess oil, makeup, impurities and bacteria that clog pores and cause acne breakouts. To help get rid of any residue and balance your skin’s pH levels, we also recommend following up with a facial cleansing wipe just to seal the deal.
