What Is Combination Skin?

In general, the nose, chin, and forehead of those with combination skin have more active oil glands, which is why these areas may be prone to clogged pores. The cheeks, on the other hand, may have less active oil glands, which is why they may appear dry and flaky.

How To Maintain Healthy Combination Skin?

Hydration

Drink plenty of quality water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins. Water Infused with lemon, mint and cucumber will help purge toxins from the blood which helps keep skin clear and bright.
Per day, your body needs about half an ounce of water for every pound of body weight.
For Instance - 140 pounds = 70 oz of water per day.

Diet

Avoid saturated and hydrogenated fats, fried and highly seasoned foods, soft drinks, alcohol, sugar, chocolate and junk food as much as you can.
Add plenty of leafy green vegetables, fruit and omega-3 fatty acids to your diet.
Drink green tea. it is a very powerful acne fighter.

Exercise

If exercising outdoors apply an extremely light sunscreen (at least 30 SPF) make sure the sunscreen is made with organic Zinc Oxide.
After a workout Try to use a free from alcohol and fragrance wet wipe right after your workout, shower and wash your face as fast as possible.

Skincare

Use a gentle but effective gel textured cleanser the goal is for it to effectively remove impurities, debris, and makeup without leaving skin feeling tight or dry or greasy. If you need a bit of extra cleansing, use a very gentle facial scrub twice a week, the softness is important, because anything less will drive your skin crazy from the feeling of aggravation and tightness it causes.
Use a clean towel after each face wash (you should not use a regular face towel more than once before tossing it to the laundry)
Tailor your skin care routine to your skin type. Avoid alcohol, fragrance, harsh chemicals, parabens, sulfates and dyes. stay clean.
