WHY TEXTUREd skin IS NORMAL
& small ways to improve skin texture
There is no way to ever completely get rid of "texture" within the skin, NORMAL SKIN IS TEXTURED! Everyone has pores (of different sizes- genetic, btw), peach fuzz, lines, scarring, & other things that are totally normal.
Our goal is to achieve healthy skin, not "perfect" skin. However, there are of course ways to IMPROVE skin texture. If you are wondering about how to get rid of rough, uneven, or bumpy textured skin, the most effective way to improve your skin texture is to see a dermatologist or licensed esthetician for monthly treatments and get a good customized home care routine established. That way, you are addressing your specific skin concerns with the proper ingredients to achieve your goals. You will see improvement in your skin within WEEKS!
Other great products to discuss with your dermatologist or esthetician to help with texture are retinoids, exfoliants for your skin type & condition, antioxidants, the proper cleansers, as well as more involved treatment options such as micro-dermabrasion and micro-needling.
