They work exactly as advertised, they just aren't quite as good at cleaning and absorbing as the Cloud Pads 2.

Too thick
Thicker is not always better. Your pads are too thick that I had to put 5 squirts of my lotion instead of 2. My rather pricy bottle of lotion would be gone in 2 weeks while it normally lasts for a month and most of it is in a pad, not on my face. It's a big waste of lotion.
If you can make the pad half a thickness, I will subscribe without a doubt. Quality of the pads is superb.
