Cycle syncing is the method of adjusting aspects of your life, such as diet and exercise, based on the phases of your menstrual cycle. This has been shown to decrease hormonal symptoms.
I have been cycle syncing for about 2 years now, and I can attest to its power. As women, we don’t operate on the same cycles like men do, our bodies ebb and flow, and it’s crucial to our health to listen to our bodies and rest when we need to.
Did you know you can also cycle sync with your skincare? For example, if you know you regularly break out around your period, it’s a good idea to schedule a Lunchtime Peel or Enzyme Treatment monthly a week before your period to avoid hormonal breakouts.
But you can use this chart to help you out, and for additional help knowing what phase of your cycle you are in, you can use the Flo app (I live by this app) or check your Basal Body temperature to determine ovulation time.
