Make sure you wash this when you get it. It gets much softer. I didn't do that, and it felt like sandpaper the first time I used it.
I have hormonal acne, so this hasn't cured me. I'm sure it helps with bacteria on my face, but so does a bonnet!
I don't know if I would have paid full price for this though... I got mine on sale and it was still very pricey.

Not sure if the claims are true yet, but it is very soft and comfortable to sleep on
